For those who missed it, Canadian born, Corbett vs. Dempsey multi-media artist, David Hartt gave an interesting lecture last night at Gallery 400 discussing his recent work and practice to date. 

Hartt's work identifies and documents ideas and places that have been altered or compromised by reality. The photographs shown above feature the changing environments of the publishing world. In them he at the same time affectionately embraces what these luxurious spaces once housed while also noting publishing's future or lack there of.
