Dennis Manarchy

Veteran Chicago photographer Dennis Manarchy's larger than life camera from his Butterflies & Buffalo series is on display 2 North Riverside Plaza for the next 6 weeks. The 35 foot camera produces 6 foot film negatives that are touted to be 1,000 greater in resolution than today's digital technology.

Manarchy's aim for the Butterflies & Buffalo project is to travel the United Sates with the camera in a semi tractor trailer truck, stopping at locations to document some of the nations most interesting subject matter.
