Jan Pieter Fokkens "Variations on a theme" at the University 
Club of Chicago!

                   

The exhibition "Variations on a theme" is inspired by images of faraway galaxies. These images are fascinating 

in the sense that they challenge normal human perception and go beyond notions of form, color and perspective. 

The drawings in this exhibition are based on these images. They bridge the way in which abstract 

and digital imaging algorithms create representations of such distant realities.
